Many of our customers have been asking for a cooler alternative to stretch-knit bike shorts and synthetic anti-chafing shorts. In response, we’ve designed the Bardot Slip Short—a soft, 100% cotton solution to the common problem of chafing, especially in hot and humid climates.

Made from breathable cotton cambric, these slip shorts are wonderfully light, cool, and soft against the skin. Unlike clingy bike shorts, Bardot is designed to sit loosely on the body. Inspired by the elegance of French knickers, they feature a full, relaxed leg with a tulip-style overlap at the side, allowing for easy movement and all-day comfort.

The Bardot Slip Short is versatile and easy to wear. Whether layered discreetly under dresses and skirts to prevent chafing, styled with our matching Bardot Cami as lounge or sleepwear, or even slipped on at the beach with a kaftan or light top, they offer comfort, coverage, and a touch of effortless style.

Very Comfortable Slip Shorts

I ordered this item to wear under a pair of white linen pants I recently ordered. The slip shorts are extremely comfortable, made with quality cotton, and didn’t have that funky chemically smell that you get with synthetic materials. Not to mention how FAST it arrived considering it came from Australia! I will definitely be ordering more.
